Xaló (Valencian name) or Jalón (Spanish name) is situated in the region of the Marina Alta, Alicante province. The population is over 2000 people.
The sun shines in Xaló more than 300 days a year, and rarely does the temperature drop below 10ºC. in the winter. The summer is mild like in the Mediterranean region with temperatures arround 25º-30ºC.
The Rastro (flea market), it takes place every Saturday morning,
where you will find from the most searched antiquity, for to the most unusual object.
FIESTAS

almonds, with their famous "pastissets de boniato", "sequillos", The "embutidos"
(cold meats), "botifarra", "garró", "sobrassada" and a variety of original delicacies that you will find in the restaurants of the town, accompanied with wine of Xaló, fundamental part of the agricultural economy of the village.
